A Bit About Me
Hi! I am so excited to start the year with you!This is my 17th year teaching Jr. High Math and my 9th year here at Oaks.
I grew up in San Diego, living in the Eastlake/Otay Ranch area. I stuck around for college, attending UCSD for my B.A. and PLNU for my MA. I now live out in Santee, so I may see you around. I have definitely run into students dancing in Vons with headphones in their ears and it makes for an interesting next day at school. You may hear me singing outlandishly loud in my car. I might have been caught once or twice.
I married to my husband Derek and have 2 daughters, an 11 year old named Kaylee, and a 1 year old named Gabriella. We have a Malinois named Lucy. You may catch us out hiking Mission Trails or out at dog beach.
I love Math and use it everyday! Obviously, because I'm a Math teacher right?
