The following suggested items will help ensure a successful year in Algebra:

• 1-2 inch, 3-ring binder to hold each chapter's packet, notes, tests and quizzes; or the use of part of a larger 3-ring binder.
• At least 2 sharpened pencils.
• 4 different colored pens for graphing and checking homework.
• Highlighter for highlighting answers.
• Ruler or straightedge for drawing graphs.
• Scientific calculator, (TI 30xa is about $10 and is the same as the class set)
