Brief Descrip+on of open PTA Board Posi+ons:
Treasurer - The Treasurer is an elected officer and the authorized custodian of all funds of the local PTA. Responsibili9es of the office include the annual budget, wri9ng checks for approved programs and their vendors, keeping records and preparing reports.
VP of Programs - The VP of Programs is an elected officer and the authorized coordinator of all programs ins9tuted by the board, organizing program details & delega9ng responsibili9es, and overseeing chairpersons of any given program or ac9vity.
VP of Ways & Means - The VP of Ways & Means is an elected officer who is authorized to ins9tute, promote and oversee the details of both Fall and Spring fundraising programs, with coordina9ng said ac9vi9es with the Board and school Administra9on.
VP of Membership - The VP of Membership is an elected officer responsible for the promo9on of membership, coordina9ng and running all membership links and social media plaHorms, and an advisor for all membership inquiries and dues.
VP Room Representa+ve - The Room Representa9ve is an elected officer authorized to coordinate classroom enrichment ac9vi9es by working closely with teachers, and their assigned room parent(s) volunteers.
Hospitality and Teacher Apprecia+on – An elected officer who coordinates and plans luncheons, surprise giMs and treats for our wonderful teachers and staff.
All Board members a4end monthly mee9ngs and present their reports or per9nent informa9on for review and approval.
